Peter Nolan founded Nolan Capital, Inc. in 2014 as the holding company for his family office to make long term investments in growth oriented companies.
Prior to founding Nolan Capital, Inc., Peter joined Leonard Green & Partners (“LGP”) as Managing Partner in 1997 along with Jon Sokoloff and John Danhakl. Under their leadership, the firm completed approximately 100 principal investments and grew Assets Under Management from $500 million in 1997 to over $75 billion today. In 2019, Leonard Green raised approximately $15 billion for its most recent funds. Peter transitioned to his current role as Senior Advisor to Leonard Green & Partners in 2014.
Previously Peter was a Managing Director and Co-Head of DLJ’s (now Credit Suisse) Los Angeles Investment Banking Division, which he joined in 1990. While at DLJ, Peter worked extensively with LGP, assuming the role of its lead investment banker in 1995. During his time at DLJ, Peter helped to build the Los Angeles investment banking office to the largest regional presence in the nation with over 100 professionals and acted as advisor to entities such as Adidas AG, the Government of Mexico, Saatchi & Saatchi PLC, Televisa S.A., Metromedia, Comcast Cellular, American Industrial Partners, CVS, Rite Aid, Steinway Selmer Corporation and Orion Pictures. Prior to DLJ, Peter had been a First Vice President in corporate finance at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert in Beverly Hills from 1986 to 1990, a Vice President at Prudential Securities, Inc. from 1982 to 1986 and an Associate at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.
Peter presently serves as Chairman of Diamond Wipes International, Ortega National Parks, and Fresh Brothers. He is also the controlling shareholder of Apollo Technologies, as well as Coastal Farm Supply. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Activision, Inc. and AerSale Holdings, Inc. Peter has served on the Board of Directors of Aspen Dental Management, Inc., FTD Group, Inc., Liberty Group Publishing, Inc., Motorsport Aftermarket Group, The Palms Hotel and Casino, Scitor Corporation, VCA Antech, Inc., Wavetek Corporation, White Cap Industries, LLC, Werner Ladder Corporation and the Supervisory Board of Adidas AG. Peter is a Trustee Emeritus and was vice chairman of the Executive Committee for Cornell University, and he is former Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee for the University’s endowment. In 2021, Cornell established the Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration in response to a $50 million donation that will provide scholarship funding to expand educational access for future generations of hospitality leaders. Peter serves as a trustee of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. Peter is the former Chairman of the Loyola High School Endowment and is a former Eagle Scout. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Finance from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Tim Eber joined Nolan Capital in 2022. Prior to Nolan Capital, Tim was an Associate in the Acquisition Finance group at Truist Securities, a middle-market investment bank in Atlanta, GA. Tim graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Management Information Systems.

Nick Saggese
Nick graduated with his B.A. and M.B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles and received his J.D. from Loyola Law School. He currently is a member of the Emeritus Board of The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and is a former member of the Loyola Law School Board of Directors, the UCLA Economics Board of Visitors, and the Board of Directors of Paul Allen’s foundation for the Arts, Sciences, and Technology. Nick also co-authored a leading treatise regarding corporate restructurings. Nick has been named among the top Private Equity, M&A, and Securities attorneys by Chambers Global, and one of the top 100 lawyers in the State of California.
